I might, but I'd want my daughter to do a lot of convincing me.
If she is being teased about having panty lines at school, I might. (I also would try to find her different pants!)
If she is doing it bc all the girls are doing it, I might give in bc I remember how hard it is to fit in. I like to wear underwar that gives me a little confidence boost even though nobody knows but me! (and sometimes my hubby)
If she is doing it bc that is what she thinks boy like, then NO WAY!
Also, I would not let my 11 year old wear any underwear that would anybody could see. No pealing over waistbands or any of that.

I don't think that's necessary. If she's wearing a nice dress or something that would show panty lines, get the new undies that are made of wide, flat lace.
If she's wearing thongs to school, it's probably to talk about them or show them off, and 11 seems too young for that.

no. Thongs are supposed to "sexy"
Children are treated as sex objects and adults at younger and younger age. 11 year old should dress like a 11 year old.

i wouldn't. thongs are mature article of clothing that hint at something else. why does she need to wear them? is she showing them to someone else? she's only 11! i think she's way to young to be getting into that stuff. i wouldn't buy them for her or encourage her to wear them, but if she buys it herself and wears it, it's not like you can take them away from her. i think she's too young for thongs though.

dude that is up to you. if i ever have a girl she is gonna wear a overalls a big baggy shirt and a hat until she is 18 (that is a joke)

I'd have a talk with her & ask her why she wants to wear them.
