Hmmm... I don't think so. There are crocodile species native to Africa and Asia, but I don't think any are found in that area. There's a species list with range maps at http://www.flmnh.ufl.edu/cnhc/csl.html if you want to double check.

Gharials come from Pakistan. Could that be what you are thinking of? Maybe?

i think so.... i mean there is. it's possible but i just don't know the exact name for that thing.
