Didnt God teach 2 love each other no matter what?

I don't know. I wish people weren't homophobic, it is silly. They are mad about two people of the same sex loving each other, while they just accept people who cheat on their girlfriends/boyfriends husbands/wives. Sad.

Ok this is a hard one ... i am not homophobic but i know many ppl who are. i dont believe they know better. Honestly the way one is brought makes them the way they are. an because of the fact that ppl are so stuck on the whole you "MUST" Love someone of the opposite sex thats what they preach/ teach there children which makes the whole homophobic thing such a problem. Just as others stated, ppl are afraid .. they are afriad of being different, and those who are different.
Its soo sad to have homophobic ppl in this world, but you cant expect everyone to be open minded and be ok with everything that would be too perfect, and sadly wont ever happen.

Hey, people are ignorant. I go to a school where there are a lot of homophobic people, they really are disgusting the way they act. I'm a girl and I'm straight but that dosn't mean I don't like or have homosexual friends. I say they are most likely insecure about themselves!

I'm not sure about god but some people attribute the "Love your neighbor" teaching to Jesus and several other religious leaders.
As for homophobia, it is just another phobia, a mental disorder that some day might have a cure. Maybe stem cell research will find one. Or sterilization.

People can often be "afraid" of something which they do not understand. It is an "ideal" to love everyone no matter what. But - having at least some understanding of others - especially those who are different - is a VERY big step in this direction-!!

Unfortunately there are some people that hate.It would be nice if there was no such thing but there is.Just have to deal with some of those people who are ignorant and preach words of loving everyone.They might as well say love everyone except gay people.Hypocrites..

it isnt even a god thing sometimes. atheists are homophobes sometimes. what's really annoying is that some people are only afraid of LGBT people because they thing that they (the queer person) will be attracted to them. like, a straight man doesnt like a gay man cuz he thinks the gay man will like him. thats really obnoxious and selfcentered. but to answer your question: i dont know

because people look for differences in others, point them out, and then put them down for being that way. It's a way of making oneself feel superior to others, because inside they are actually insecure about themselves.
