Of course not.. you don't see the military who bombed Iraq and killed 10,000s of Iraqi civilians being held accountable do you?

Hmm, not quite on point...

If you had hundreds of American suicide bombers and it turned out that they were all Christian AND Christian leaders were not objecting to the behavior. THEN it would make sense for the world to place some of the blame on Christianity.

So along that line of thinking it is appropriate to blame islamic (religious) leaders for what the islamofascists are doing. The tricky part for them is they don't believe in a secular government; they WANT an islamofascist government.

Oh my god! The other countries would start having cows by the dozens! And France would be leading the way.

And, my goodness, you can't hold Islam responsible because it's a religion and a peaceful one at that! The Muslims tell us that all the time, that their religion is peaceful, why won't you people just believe that?

I agree 100%, but the US wouldn't have that problem because we're smart enough not to be suicide bombers (for the most part anyway). Why commit suicide when you can just wax all the people you want to kill, and live to fight another day?

Roughly 1% of Americans are felons.

Do we hold the entire country liable for their criminal actions?

You are comparing a religion to a nationality. Like apples to oranges.
