That would depend on where you purchased or acquired your puzzle from and how long it has been sitting on the table waiting for you to complete it. For starters there really is 1000 pieces 99.9% of the time if you purchased it brand new from the store. Now if you went to a Thrift or Second hand store and bought it used you just drastically reduced your odds of having a complete puzzle from 99.9% to around 75%. Now lets examine how long you have been working on putting the puzzle together. If you have sat down and put the puzzle together in one sitting and by yourself all the pieces will probably be there. If there is another person, you can subtract one piece per person. Especially if they are pranksters. and if you have a cat or dog, forget it. they are eating a few pieces in the corner. Then finally the longer the puzzle sits on the table to more likely the full puzzle will not be there by the time you finish. Look in the vacuum cleaner if you do take more than one day to complete. Hope this helps. There were other factors I could have added but thought this would be good for now.
