No background? So, how do you get different colors behind different areas of text?

72 dpi (pixels/inch), minimum

Usually websites are 778 pixels in width for better viewing in 800 x 600 resolution.

You can use a background of your choice. BODY Background Image does not make any difference on page size.

Don't use website backgrounds as they are a design no-no. Many users dislike them, they distract from the content of the page, and often make it difficult to read.

Typical is 800x600, but you should look on your desktop preferences and see what your setting is.

For windows it's in the Control Panel. For Mac it's in preferences.
