I haven't been all over the world, but I really like southern California for the climate.
Pretty happy in my own backyard too, though.

The Caribbean. Sun, sand, turquoise seas that are as warm as bath water. If you like Snorkeling or Scuba diving, it's like entering another World. I found myself, 15 feet down - so enthralled with seeing an octopus from inches away, I simply forgot that I needed to breathe. It felt like I was down there for 3 or 4 minutes.
They don't have measures of alcohol like Britain. A drink can be 3 or 4 glugs. Which is a lot more than a measure. Drinking Rum punches or Strawberry Dakories whilst watching the sun go down in a furnace of yellow, orange and reds and listening to the cool silky tones of "Diamond Life being sung by a Sade look alike is something that will be treasured as the best holiday and favourite part of the World. If you ever get the chance go, you won't regret it. St. Lucia, St. Croix, Antigua. Practically any of the U.S. Virgin Islands.

I have lots of favourites. Bangkok is fantastic because it was so different to what I expected. Asia is amazing, even though they do not have as much material wealth as the west they seem to make up for it on a spiritual level. Its worth a visit. However for me if I was forced to pick a favourite place in the world I would have to say Sydney, Australia. Its a beautiful city, great climate and I am sure any-one who has caught a ferry to Watsons Bay would agree with me.

The Island of Britain is my favourite part of the world. Naturally I am biased, I was born here and have lots of connections with this mad island lost somewhere in the outter darkness off Euroland. The Island of Britain is a land of magic and mystery. It is also very beautiful. My favourite headline from the 1950s reads "FOG IN CHANNEL, CONTINENT ISOLATED". Sounds good to me.

I haven't been to enough places to say where is my favourite. I loved Paris and I really love New York. Andorra was magical at Christmastime. Devon and Cornwall are beautiful. I 'll hold on until I have done a bit more globe trotting.
