Am i preganant? im not really clear on how to count on the calendar rythm. My last period was aug. 1 and it lasted til Aug 3. after that no more then on Aug. 7 there was some drops. My boyfriend and i did our lovemaking Aug. 12. Since im a regular person my period should arrive now Sept. 4. I did my test this morning coz im alarm for we did not used any protection. The test show positve. Now my friend said it will really show positive once your delayed but it doesnt mean im preganant coz it happend to her she did the test and it showed positive since she was delayed 2 weeks but it the end her period arrived. What should i do? im not yet reay to have a baby i still have plans and my foreign boyfriend dont want marriage yet and dont want baby.

settle down....sometimes we work ourselves up till we get out of cycle....maybe use protection

well had you not wanted a baby you should not have gotten carried away and Used a condom. now with that Said what your friend is saying is total bullshit. thE only way that a pregnancy test is suPposed to come out positive is if you have elevated hoRmones. but then there are thOse thaT are defective. sincE you have had a positive result i would suggest that you go to the doCtor. Then depending on how far along you are you can decIde what to do. if you really dOn't want a baby theN i would suggest that you give him or her up for adoption because there are a lot of couples that try and try to have children and they simply can not.

Go see your Dr. and get tested. Most over-the-counter tests are acurate up to 1 week after your period was due. Dr. might have one more sensitive. Then discuss either birth control options or pregnancy options depending on results. If you're not ready to have a baby there are plenty of families out there that will adopt it, pay your expenses and give your baby a wonderful home.

2. You should try proof reading what you write before posting it and use the spell check next time.
3. If you took a test and it's the results are positive..You are pregnant. There's absolutely no reason to use yahoo answers to ask a loaded question, such as the one you asked.

I was tested positive twice with two separate home pregnancy tests. I told my husband but he wanted to be 100% sure so I saw a gynecologist. The gynecologist gave me an ultrasound test, because I felt pain in my left abdominal area. At the same time, she told me that I was pregnant. I told her that I've taken a home pregnancy test and it was positive. She told me that if the home pregnancy test shows positive, it is most likely that I'm pregnant.
You should see your gynecologist for a pregnancy test. If you are pregnant, you and your boyfriend will need to decide what you're planning to do with the baby.

It sounds like you could be. Unless you have been taking currant medicine but more then likely you maybe eight er go to the Dr for a check up or wait a few weeks and re take if you haven't gotten your period. Good luck and remember God works in majesties ways.

pregnancy test are mostly accurate. If it showed positive for your friend she probaly was pregnant and had a miscarrage and didnt realize it because it was so early. Most miscarrages happen and people do not know they just think it is their period. Go to the doctor and get a test.

I doubt it's false. It is way more common to have a false negative tahn a false positive. Definatley got to teh doctor. They can do a blood test to confirm. YOur doctor will aslo be able to discuss options with you if you are not ready to have a baby. The sooner you go the more options you have. Good Luck!

You are pregnant. There is no such thing as a false positive. I hate to tell your friend but she probably had a miscarriage. Take as many tests as you like but you need to see a Dr. because you are having a baby.

If the test shows positive, you are almost certainly pregnant. Make an appt. with an OB, then sit down and calmly make a list of your options.

tests mare fairly reliable just remember to do it in the morning and also wait till ur about 2 weeks late
