I have one old computer that has a ton of ram, and a newer one that has barely any. How can install the RAM from the old one to the new one?

There is a clip on each end of the ram sticks which hold it in. If you pull one of the clips it will come loose. Make sure it is the same type before you force it into a slot - if it is SD ram it will not fit in a DDR slot and you will break something if you try.
To put it in, open both the clips, put it in the right way (there is a notch on the ram and in the slot) and gently push it in until you hear the clips go click.

first slots need to be the same
next, parity and non parity(8 and 9 chip) do not like each other
sticks are keyed so they dont like to go in backwards so dont force, observe where the notches are and match the direction

check with the motherboard mfgr= dell or whoever to find out the max ram for that board
if ram is sd then it might be 66 or 100 or 133 bus speed
you cant go faster than the motherboard will support

installing ram is very easy, just open the latches, match up the slot and when you push it in, it will lock itself into place, however if your taking ram from an old pc to a new pc, make sure the pc is compatible with the ram
