You know what. You walk by them and hold your head up and ignore them. It does not matter if they like you, What matters is if you like yourself and if you do then just let that shine. Get your education and be as sucessful as you can. If the kids don't like you so what there are plenty of other people who do and will. Good luck

Become a "joiner"...clubs are the perfect way to make friends; what do you like to do? Is there a movie club, drama, dance, foreign language....do stuff; when I was in High School, I made it a point to have a few "close" friends, but also made friends with cheerleaders, drama people, "nerds"(they were always the friendliest and will probably have the best lives), chess, volleyball...Join, baby!

Let me rephrase your question:
If you were in a new part of a river and needed to be with other fish and don't have friends . . .
You would learn a very valuable lesson in life: how to swim because you need to. You won't drown and you'll be OK. You have talents and skills people need so be confident, don't talk too much, be a little mysterious. Don't try to make friends to quickly. Do your work and do well.
