9/11 happened before Iraq. We are in Iraq because we knew years ago that Iran was going Nuclear and we were going to hav eto fight a nasty war. You think Iraq is bad, you haven't seen nothing yet. Wait for the coming Showdown between the West and Iran.

That always amazes me. Nobody cries 'War Crimes' when they behead defenseless captives, drag their bodies behind a truck through the streets, hang them from a bridge and set them on fire, intentionally target civilians for death...
Are the usual screamers so tolerant of the other side's abuses because that is 'normal' for them? That it is expected, thus the double standard?

"9/11 happened before Iraq. We are in Iraq because we knew years ago that Iran was going Nuclear and we were going to hav eto fight a nasty war. You think Iraq is bad, you haven't seen nothing yet. Wait for the coming Showdown between the West and Iran."
wait... we're in Iraq because Iran was going nuclear??? How does that make sense?
You're right though... yeah Muslim terrorists have done many inhuman things. But soldiers of a war put their lives on the line on both sides. It's civilians that I cry for. Not the ones that take sides.. the ones that try to live in a country but they can't for various reasons.. whether it be US involvement... Saddam gassing them... Hezbollah firing missles from their yard... Israel firing back..
Whatever it is I don't like it.
{EDIT}
You know about Sunnis and Shites right? (sp those)
Iraq and Iran were run by opposite types and they were in a cold-war like situation so that Iran and Iraq were both in check power wise. Removing Saddam would be like removing the US in the cold war.. I'm not saying saddam should be in power.. im just saying that's what happened... just because something's better one way than another doesn't mean I can't point out a likely scenario.
{EDIT 2}
"In response to CANTCU, no that sure wouldn't be happening... Nope, we'd have Saddam bombing the kurds, collaberating with the other Muslim countries there and getting all their nukes online and ready to rock n roll"
Other Muslim countries? There's a lot of hardships down there between leaders. They aren't all just muslims.. they're all people with varying agendas... Are all Christians for George Bush? Is George Bush with all Christians? All of them? Even the unjust ones..
You can't lump people together like that. Terrorists suck and so do the thigns we've done as a country..
Whatever... I deal with it... It's part of like on this planet... constant war and disagreement... best thing we can do is just speak when we can and stay quiet other times.

No. except an personality Muslim is being stressed, bullied, or attacked only for being Muslim, that is not any longer a hate crime. i do not settle for as actual with e book burning. i trust the burning of any e book, regardless of ways heinous, is one of those censorship. notwithstanding....that is notwithstanding basically an merchandise. If actually everybody purchases a koran, or a bible, or a replica of "The God delusion", or some ingredient, they have the right to do with their resources as they choose. Even ruin it. you won't be able to deliver someone to penal complex provided that some thing they did offends you. it may well be larger do you need to did not enable those type of human beings get to you. notwithstanding, sending a human being to penal complex for artwork out their freedom of expression (even with the reality that what they're expressing is hate and prejudice) should be no larger than burning books in the first situation.

Who is the culprit? those who occupied a country and their troops committed many crimes there or the terrorists? I think that both of them are so. Do you expect an occupied nation defends the occupiers with those crimes against terrorists? They are being assaulted by both parties. Islam has nothing to do with terrorism since the majority of Muslims are attacked by the minority of terrorists and the occupying troops.

I seriously doubt that would happen in a Muslim country unless the soldiers converted out of Islam or touched a woman who wasn't theres...

Who's worse, those that started them or those who react to what was started!
WE started it!
Just because we don't show a rape, then murder of a 14 year old in front of her little brother, then kill most of her family and set them on fire doesn't mean much to me!
If the 14 year old had a choice, she probably would have chosen beheading!
If we weren't there, and we should have NEVER attacked Iraq, then you wouldn't have to worry about any of it, would you??

Don't be;ieve evrything you read, or see on tele.
Its not a war crime unless another country is invaded, and the only ones to do that recently are the Americans and Israelis.
