UAR, which was a union between Egypt and Syria, but it only lasted from 1958 to 1961. UAE is a different country altogether.

Wow, are you confused! Why not look this up on a map via the Internet. The UAE and Egypt are in totally different regions and are separate countries.

Egypt is in Africa, the other countries you mention are in Asia.
