Yes. But I wouldn't recommend it. To many germs, bacteria, and that chlorine might get up in the vagina and make you have an infection or cause other problems.

Yes, swimming is one of the best forms of exercise during pregnancy. If you swam consistently before you got pregnant, you should be able to continue without too much modification. If you didn't exercise at all you should still be able to start swimming, but check with your doctor or midwife before you take the plunge. You'll need to start slowly, stretch well before and after, warm up and cool down gradually, and not overexert yourself.

I've seen pregnant women attending an aqua-aerobics course in a swimming pool. So even if the pregnant women can't swim, they still can participate in less strenuous water-related activities.

Yes, but not in lakes or ponds....Could lead to infection through ears..nose or mouth which might make her take antibiotics. No hot tubs....However keep in mind that 40% of Dallas pools that are owned by the city were considered unsafe and got violations, so even pools are not too safe these days...sun tan lotion is a must and WATEER! lack of water is the number one cause of premature labor and those nasty brackston hicks!

yes I did. Just not hard core marathon olympic type swimming. Exersice is good for you while you are pregnant, helps with the delivery and helps get your body back in shape faster afterwards.
