Mac studio fix is the best thing going. I have had women come up to me in public and tell me how beautiful and flawless I look. I use mac lip glass and Shadows too. Just go to the MAC counter at the mall and they will hook you up!

On tannish skin a purple is always hott. Not too dark but more plum than anything. If you are like not black but dark tanned then a slightly lighter shade than plum should do the trick. That's evening wear. Day wear, just add a small amount of light purple and a bit of blue by the corner of your eyes. (by your nose) Make absolute sure the blue blends with the purple.

Actually, MAC has a wide range of colors for you to choose from, you could probably pick one of the most suitable colors (for foundation).
For eye shadow, MAC & Bobbi Brown is famous for tan-look and earth tone colors.

Bare Essentials is by far the best foundation I've ever used. And I have used everything from Revlon to Armani. My second favorite is Estee Lauder.

Try Catalina Geo.. I use this, I also have tanned olive skin, and I find it works the best... cause when you're tanned, the less crud on your face the more natural and nice it looks... they have a beautiful range of eye shadows too....

Loreal has the shimmer pencil eyeshadow that is awesome! I tanned this summer and I wore it to work and got many compliments! And definitely a lilac color if you have blue eyes! Pinkish for brown eyes and green eyes I thought yellow or gold looked really sweet!
