people say my kids did something and i know they didnt. but since my time dont add up with the time on the log they say that i'm lying/ how do i prove to them that what i say is true. I mean just because the kids have been in trouble before does not mean they did it this time

You are not going to unless you have witnesses thatvcan place them somewhere other than the crime sceene .and every 0ne thinks not my kid never they are nice boys / girls blah blah
If they have a sheet they probably did it and shpuld cop a plea deal; with the ADA and if they want ot get off even lighrter start singing and better than the lipsyncnging typs we have as excuse for music today .
If they sing really well and hit all the right notes amd give up all the right folks well depending on chrages along with no BS or lies well they might convince the ADA to Drop or CWAF the charges .
But my bet is your kids did what ever tht are accsued of if they have sheet .
If they are repapete offenders they are going ot catch time . unless you hAVE rock solid evidnce that is irefutabvle they were not there .Listen cops are not always right Judges se alot of crap and the system sucks but
this i was set up BS is getting about as old as my Kid has ADHD stuff .

The police have nothing to do with it. Evidence will be presented at trial. At that point, the trier of fact (judge for a bench trial, or jury) will determine who to believe.
Just tell the truth. That's the best you can do.

I have had a case where the cops made out 3 different reports and none of them had the correct date or time on them and the courts still sided with the cops story It is a losing battle Cops are allowed to change their statements in their reports but we can not change ours They call this justice????
