It is a very complex situation in the Middle East and, for the most part, we have really just recently (comparatively speaking) gotten seriously involved.
We mustn't assume, just because there are no quick or easy solutions, that it is a hopeless situation.
We have given the people of Iraq a golden opportunity to determine their future as a free society where the government answers to the people, rather than the other way around.
Let's hope they don't sqander it.

US can't solve the problems in there...We saw very well that US can't solve its own problems(what is happening now with Katrina victims?)...They could make it even worst...Just look at Iraq,what they did there trying to spread "democracy and peace"...They should start minding their own businesses....

because the administration does not care one bit about solving the problems ... in fact if you take their stance on things in as a whole it appears that their intention is to dehumanize and subjugate the entire population of the world including US citizens ... all they care about is their empire and staying on top .. small problems like people getting killed dont concern them.
