you bought a new CD and you didn't want to let your sibling or friend listen to it...
i believe this could happen to anyone for whatever reason, especially between younger teens.
maybe you fought with the person, and didn't want to listen to the CD together. or maybe two of you were supposed to buy it together, but only you ended up paying for the CD. or maybe you thought that music was so awesome only you deserved to listen. lol

yes
im very anal when it comes to cds because i do not like fingerprints on them, i dont like scratches either, and i keep them in the case and make copies for listening in my car. I also take care of the case and insert. I really like to take care of my things.
perfect story: my sis and I buy and share them (its really hard for me because she treats them the exact opposite of me, scratches them, cracks the case and loses the insert) it drives me nuts!
anyhow, we share them and I always try to keep the original and not the copy for the simple fact that i take care of them and she doesnt and shes loses them, scratches them or will loan them out and never get them back. we always argue. its kinda funny.
so to answer your question, yes!

In my experience, some of my friends never returned the CD, so I don't like to let those friends borrow them anytime.
