It's like you're walking down a road and it's hot and there's no wind and you have on your thick socks and the shirt with the tight neck that you keep trying to stretch b/c it's choking you to death and you look back while you wipe the sweat off your forehead for the 100th time ,and realize that you've only gone about 300 feet and that THIS is the LONGEST country mile you will EVER walk.

I don't know that there is a formal definition, but basically it means a "slow" mile -- everything is longer and slower in the country.... if we were to walk a city mile, it'd be brisk and quick, but a country mile is slow, while taking it's time enjoying the scenery....

Well, in my opinion, a city mile is hectic, frustrating, people busy trying to get where they need to go.. so a country mile is the opposite.. peaceful, friendly, longer because you are not rushed.
