Visualize reddish mountain ranges and stunning sunsets and a windburned man in a blue shirt sitting on a horse overlooking tall grasses swaying in the breeze.

Montana has beautiful peaceful scenery, both plains and mountains, large horses and friendly people. The 'Montana horse' is a common feature of Louis L'Amour novels. The snow is deep there and the horses must be tall and strong.
;-D Montana is a beautiful state!

Beautiful mountains. Cows.
You might have seen this in a book, but in northern Montana the crop field shapes are very long and straight, and there are lots of them. Maybe the fields are several miles long. This is so they don't have to turn tractors around so much.
Oh, and don't expect everybody there to be really nice. They're typically not.

LOL! Hadn't thought of that old zappa tune in years. When I think of montana I think of wide open spaces, lots and lots of nothing. The place where men are men, and sheep are nervous.
