I’m serious here.

Many states allow you to vote for the governor and lieutenant governor from either parties. Which is why some states end up with a Republican governor and Democratic lieutenant governor, or vice versa. Why not with the national general elections for president and vice president?

I personally only support the more moderate candidates running for office because I believe neither the left or right represents the majority of Americans. So what not a ticket of John McCain and John Edwards (both moderates) who would truly represent most Americans, as well as both parties?

What would your dream split-ticket be?

McClain / Westley Clark

2 national heroes, both moderate, both brilliant, both honorable.

I've thought about this too. I would support a split-party ticket, if the right candidates were on it. I think John Edwards-John McCain would be a good ticket. Unfortunately, the Republican and Democratic parties would never allow it to happen.

Yes I would support a split party presidential ticket. I would think that each party would have to run more than one candidate if the top vote getter was elected president and the one with the second highest got vice president. It would give us more choices . My dream ticket would be Collin Powell for president with Joseph Biden for vice president.

At one point in time I would have supported a split party presidential ticket.....but now that the democrats have become so extreme far left and whacked out on their ideas and agenda's it would be extreme hard for me too vote for a democrat or endorse anything from them......They have become nothing but a cancer to this great nation!

McCain Edwards would be a great ticket. You know Kerry was talking to McCain in 2003 about being a running mate?
