Well, I think they finally gave Bill Gates an honorary degree, I'm not sure he actually graduated from UofM.

Highest paying jobs:

nuclear physicist
embedded systems engineer (PhD in EE)
Surgeon
Entrepeneur (but you don't need a degree)
Chief Technology Officer
Chief Financial Officer

Basically, degrees in math and science return the greatest financial rewards, because they are difficult programs and many enter, but few pass through.

any job that has to do with computers: programmer, software engineer, tech support, database administrator. If you're willing to "run the gauntlet" and throw yourself into it (learning as you go, making mistakes, assume the position), you can do it. And, because so many seem confused with computers and yet are totally dependent on them, you will do well financially. Obviously, a degree is the best and fastest way, but there are other ways. I've been in IT for 7 years, and I find myself in a very reliable and secure profession.
