Keeping busy. When your boss looks to see how you're doing, that's all he wants to see.

Mechanics are usually bent over when they are working...my shop foreman says that all the time. I say "If you want to see an ***, go look in the mirror, keep talking and I'll give you an elbow"!!!

It doesn't say much of Jesus's sacrifice either - if there was no change to God before or after Jesus's life. So in conclusion - what exactly was sacrificed at Jesus's crucifixion? Just one mortal, human life. God, apparently, lived on. Also, if God's plan is to reassemble all the bodies of the dead... how dumb is that? To reassemble the same imperfect sinners, to exactly the same imperfect design? Dumb, Dumb, Dum-De-Dum. And they say it's "intelligent design"?

I encountered this phrase in the Army. When we went out to police the area (pick up trash) the sergeant in charge only wanted to see assholes and elbows. In other words, with him behind us he would be seeing our *** as we bent over and our elbows as we picked up debris.

What a construction supervisor says when s/he wants everyone to work harder.

"This foundation isn't going to dig itself! All I want to see is elbows and assholes people!"

I can only think that it is short for "They can't tell their a..... from their elbow". That is, in a state of extreme confusion.

Yeah, we used it in the Navy sometimes. It basically means a lot of people working together (usually in a tight space) to fix a problem.
