Good question experts are predicting a major short fall of oil in the 4th quarter of this year - Maybe they know something.

There is a pipeline from Iran to Russia that deliver oil and a billion dollar defence plan to buy Russian air defence from them .

If they cut off the oil flow it would be instant war with the US which America wants - But it would also mean a stop of US money into Iran and either China or Russia would have to pick up the slack - Again it would be an instant war with the US .

As for the economic forecasting I guess you could go to 200 a barrel - I have heard that figure somewhere although i can't recall when or by who or even under what circumstances it was said . So to be safe regardless of price you and I would be walking to work

There will be some artificial manipulation of prices to send them through the roof. But the truth is, the US doesn't need Iranian oil. US has oil. Canada has oil. Mexico has oil. There are deposits of offshore oil on both coasts. So there is lots of oil around.
Anything that would give a kick to research into alternate energy sources would be great! The old Stanley Steamer may yet make a comeback.

Iran does not supply Oil to the USA. The problem comes from that amount of oil being taken off of the worldwide market.

The US does not buy oil from Iran. In fact only ten to fifteen percent of US oil comes from the entire Middle East. Remove the Iranian supply from the global market and oil prices would go up, but the fact is the Iranians need to sell their oil to survive.

Iran might have no longer something to benefit by ability of that, yet oil fees might bypass up. a much extra probable undertaking is that Israel and or the U.S. assaults Iran's nuclear web content. In reaction Iran closes the strait of Hormuz. this might decrease off the oil bypass from Saudi Arabia and Kuwait and reason oil fees to double a minimum of.

USA gets no oil from Iran...

Not much!

We get 2/3 of our oil from those terrible Mexicans and the Canadians that Anna Coulter wants to bomb! There are plenty of places in the middle East we can get oil!

This current oil crisis was another manufactured one! Somebody made a ton of money, and all you are losers!

The price of oil will go up. Supply and demand...

Hopefully, the US will get our of lazy butts and go after alternative energy sources with more of a desire. We waste so much energy everyday without even realizing it.
