Why did I get attacked like, I did? I just want a real answer. not a lecture. Trying to get answers to a decent question should not condemn a person. I want a muslium not a extremenist to explain to me Why some of the muslium world doesnt understand the us. since they dont live here? I just want to understand.... That is all.

Maybe you have overgeneralised all Muslims are the same. Where I come from, the muslims are really tolerant and friendly people and even they are ashamed of what's happening around the world. We Christians, Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, Jews and any other people from other religions get along really well. You get a Muslim kid sitting beside a Christian and chatting away like good friends. Even Muslim and Christian families live as harmonious neighbours. I'm proud to be here because everyone is deemed equal!

The only problem with asking an honest question is you might get an honest answer you don't like.That aside, I recently returned from living in Kuwait and Iraq. Why does some of the Muslim world not understand us? They have limited access to the real news (in Kuwait, certain TV channels and multiple Internet sites were blocked by the government) and it is controlled by the government. Many don't care to know anything about us any more than some Americans don't want to know about Muslim or Islam. During my time in the middle-East I meet several Arab/Muslims I liked and made semi-friends with and met many I wouldn't give the time of day to, or turn my back on. Same goes may Christians, Jews, and even I regret to say, one or two Mormons...since I am LDS.
But you make a very valid observation...unless you live in an Islamic country it's difficult to understand their culture.Same with Muslims that haven't spent any time in the USA.
