A plasma is a gas at in a very high energy state such that most of it's atoms/molecules have lost electrons and have become ionized. Plasmas are formed at very high temperatures and under the influence of electric fields strong enough to cause ionization. Plasmas conduct electricity and react to magnetic and electric fields. The gas inside fluorescent tubes and neon signs is a plasma when those lamps are lit.

Plasma - The non-cellular liquid component of un-clotted whole Blood. Plasma is the liquid medium in which the formed elements of Blood are suspended and comprises the major portion of whole Blood. Plasma is composed of 92% water, 7% protein and 1% minerals, containing 6.5-8.0 grams of protein per deciliter of Blood. The main proteins in plasma are: albumin (60%), globulins (alpha-1, alpha-2, beta and gamma globulins (immunoglobulins) and clotting proteins (especially fibrinogen). These proteins function to maintain oncotic pressure (especially albumin), transport substances such as lipids, hormones, medications, vitamins, and other nutrients. These proteins are also part of the immune system (immunoglobulins), help Blood to clot (clotting factors), maintain pH balance, and are enzymes in chemical reactions throughout the body. Plasma is used to treat clotting disorders, burn victims and shock.

collection of charged particles (as in the atmospheres of stars or in a metal) containing about equal numbers of positive ions and electrons and exhibiting some properties of a gas but differing from a gas in being a good conductor of electricity and in being affected by a magnetic field
Or a display (as a television screen) consisting of discrete cells of plasma sandwiched between two layers of glass and electrodes such that each cell emits light when it receives an electric current
Or if you mean blood plasma the pale yellow fluid of whole blood that consists of water and its dissolved constituents including especially proteins (as albumin, fibrinogen, and globulins)

A plasma is a state of matter in which one or more electrons have been stripped from the atom leaving a 'cloud' of electrons and a 'cloud' of + ions.

This usually happens at high temperatures.
