I was in the military, as was my dad and my two brothers. Because of this, I enjoy the military rooms on yahoo.
A few nights ago, I started using a mic in the rooms. I went into one room and asked (thru my mic) "are there men in here who would be interested in chatting?"
I was immediately told that I was not wanted in the room and to go away. I was cursed at (I didn't curse back) and chopped to "bits." (by thier words)
Maybe they thought I was a talking "bot." I have no idea what happened, but i actually had a bit of a problem going to sleep that night because I couldn't believe that people could be so rude!
I am not a young kid, nor am I elderly (although some of the "young" kids might think I am)
I was just curious if any of you have run across this and what you did.
Any similar stories out there?.(I am not looking for advice...just your stories).
(And as a side note, I have been online since 1996, so I am NOT a newbie to chat.).

I went to that room as well! Same thing happened! Only my computer froze and screens kept popping up all over the place! I have no idea what happened ! I tried another time, same thing happened ..You don't belong there with a bunch of inconsiderate jerks who have basically taken control of the room! I am sure that they do not talk about military there either. I go to a nice room and it is the only one that I go to now..You can voice there and play music on the mic..friendly but you do get jerks once in a while...if you're interested stop by alternative medicine room1 Under Health..I am gippy and will talk to you!

It is probably a chat room filled with paedophiles who want to talk about under age pronography. These sick and twisted people wouldn't want a normal, sane person in their black hell of a chat room. Don't worry, when they go to hell you can laugh in their faces

yes many of times its annoying, i get on and bairly start reading then all of a sudden tons of bots and jerks are heading my way. so i just end up leaving
