I am a rabbit lover but I've never heard or smelled a fart from a bunny. I was guessing that their fart was very insignifican and that it doesn't smell at all.

no they cannot fart pass gass that is why u need to give it unlimited hay and some pellets

Hi Mary I'm not certain about it because I couldn't find an article that mentioned it directly. However, I have had one bunny that loved to get under the covers with me. When she crawled out several times I caught a little waft of hay-ish odor and I know it wasn't me! I checked for any poo or pee and there was none. So that left me with the conclusion that she did it. I've read several places that bunnies cannot burp. That is what our vet said as well. That same cuddle bunny hopped up on my chest one day and BURP! One big loud carrot scented burp right in my face. I think she did it on purpose.
