I like stuff from all those decades, and the 1960's, too. Chicago, in particular- haha, in case you can't tell.

But in general, most of the stuff out there now sucks. It's all machines and studio blueprints, little raw talent. Now a days, it's more about wardrobe malfunctions and moronic TV shows (AI) than the music.

Which makes sense, I suppose, since so much of the music so far this century blows.

This is actually a tough question to answer.
Being born in the 70's (1972) I really like groups like Led Zeppelin and some of their music was/is great. However during the 80's I was doing most of my growing up and groups like the Violent Femms, Big Audio Dynamite, and The Sex Pistols were some of my favorites during the early 80's. In the latter 80's I got into Ministry, Motly Crue, U2, Neitzer Ebb, and NWA. In the 90's I missed out on a lot of music, being deployed overseas for long periods of time... but I did like Faith No More, KMFDM, and in the mid 90's I got hooked on Rage Against the Machine (and still love them).

So I guess if I had to pick I would have to say the 80's, simply for nostalgias sake.

Definitely the 70's but I'd have to say 60's/70's during the Vietnam Era. Best ever music and musicians came out of those years. Wish there was a CD collection from then.

Definitely the 70's! The 80's come in a close second though.

I like the 80's music because it was a crazy time. Lots of punk, Cindy Lauper kind of stuff. I think it was a fun decade and brings back happy memories. I have satelite radio and find myself listening to the Pulse which is 90's quite a bit, so I like that too.

The 80's baby all the way! Except for going back to school I would totally go back. MTV was the best back then. It was also the decade rap got it's start, not that I like it. Just thinking about that time puts a smile on my face. I think the movies were better back then also.
