it basicly depends upon your preforance if you like the wireless then go for it but a wired one will be cheaper but you will have to have a flat serface with a wireless you can use a magzine or even your leg if you needed to so depends on you and where you will be useing it

I'm a laptop fans and don't see a problem on using a wireless mouse as long as the mouse do not consume too much of battery power. Some of the mouse even can keep the receiver inside when it is not used to make it easiler to carry.

If you want to use a mouse, I sugget using one that's connected to the computer through a USB cable, cause wireless mouses take up so much batteries. I used mine for only a week and had to change the triple A batteries.

it depends. i like having my mouse pad on my laptop becuase a) it's more portable and b) its just easier for me- one less thing to lose and worry about breaking you know? but my mom for example, has so mcuh trouble with my computer because of the mouse pad so she, for example, would benefit from a wireless mouse. it just depends on you :)
good luck!
