- You will have to drink water on a regular basis to flush the system. By regularly I mean think of it as any other medication that you would take every 2 hours.
- You must keep your face very clean, frequent washing with a non-abrasive soap. A very old-fashioned remedy is "tar soap." Tar products have been used for many years as a helper for eczema and roseacea. I get mine online at www.drleonards.com. Make a lather in your hands, or lather up a facial sponge, and pat the foam on your face. Splash off and pat with a damp facecloth. Do not rub. I use a fresh washcloth every day.
- For a moisturizer, gently rub on Cetaphil cleanser (or a store brand equivalent which is cheaper). Gently rub off with kleenex.
- Keep your fat intake low - no peanuts, potato chips, etc.
- Is your hair oily also? Try Polytar shampoo, Neutragena T-gel, DHS Tar Shampoo - I alternate them.

I recently switched to the Neutrogena face-glow round cloths. They have little scrubbers on one side that help to exfoliate. I also switched to mineral make-up. It isn't absorbed by the skin, which is great for break out prone skin because your pores stay clear. Its also good for sensitive skin. Also, don't wash your face more than once a day, over-drying your skin can make it irritated.

first off i dont know how healthy this is but when my face gets like that (bout once a month) i use rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball about 2 times a day, just on the trouble areas, if you have broken pimples it might sting for just a little but it makes them smaller and go away faster, you'd be surprised all the dirt and grime on your face in just one day.

try a baking soda paste, just mix 3 parts water to 1 part baking soda. This is incredibly cheap, so try it first. If that doesn't work, try Proactiv or see a dermatologist

Hydrocortisone works on red bumpy ones for me.

I squeeze my blackheads. This works great for me -- jsut don;t go too crazy. And don't pop any pimples except blackheads.

Proactiv, do not eat oil foods, use a obsorbent moisturiser, and wash your face morning and night, drink plenty of water to flush out any toxins in your body too.

I use a generic facial scrub and then plain old rubbing alcohol as a toner/astringent. Works wonders and it is cheep.

Use an egg face mask. Separate the egg from the yolk and use either mixture and put it on your face, let it dry, and wash it off. And cover up your blemishes with Revlon concealer.

ProActiv if you can afford it. If not, drink lots of water, keep your hands clean and away from your face, eat more fruits and vegetables. If it's really bad, ask your doctor if tetracycline would be right for you and your skin problems.
