"...feel no pain"??? Only the pain of loneliness!
Love is a risk/reward proposition.
Can you get hurt? Yes!
Can you find true love? Yes!

It is better to love and hurt. This way you know what you're looking for in life and you're more determined to get the most out of it. Although some hurt can feel life threatening, it will only make you stronger. If you don't love at all what will you do when you finally fall in love? It will only cause you to withdraw within yourself and turn your back to the world. You could possibly lose the love of your life due to your lack of caring and loving.

Who told you that having never known love equates to feeling no pain? It is quite the opposite.
Pain from losing love is temporary, pain from never knowing love lasts a lifetime.

To Love and feel the pain. It's still worth it.
If you don't expect and calculative of how much you want to get on return. You will be happy. And love is unconditional.

Having no love at all IS painful, and don't let anyone tell you any different!
HOWEVER..... if love causes "hurt", it is because the object of your affection is not RECIPROCATING your love, in which case the love you "share" is rather one-sided. This is WORSE than merely "painful" - it's EXCRUCIATING!
