That's the question for the ages. Why does the phone ring when you're on the toilet? Why doesn it ring when you're in the shower? or Why does it ring when ever you're busy at home cleaning? It's because the person that is calling you isn't psychic and expects you to answer the phone when they call to them they don't know even if you are home or not. To them it's a crap shoot.

There's a water level sensor in your toilet that triggers a signal to a telemarketing Network Operations Center, which in turn results in a call to your home. The toilet sensor seems to be set to only activate when significant agitation of the water occurs, such as would be the case, well, when.. you know. Plop.
I've looked for this sensor on multiple occasions, but cannot find it myself. Perhaps you'll have better luck.

seems like magic doesn't it. I worked as a care taken of 10 troubled boys once and every time I went in there trouble would break out. I have not figured it out but since I have checked this kind of thing and it is way to common to be chance. I must deduce there is an unseen force There are some theorys about what kind of situation is realy going on besides the obvious part of life that we see. There is something going on in this area. I have not figured it out.. I DO NOT KNOW.

Secret camera in the toilet activates the phone line and alerts the world that you are on there. LOL Maybe you need a cordless and bring it in there with you?

Same reason the phone rings everytime I try to get a shower or sneak in a nap. Here's the thing... you don't have to answer it. Call them back, or let them call back later.

I've wonder that myself. Could it be that the caller can See you
when you head for the bathroom? lol I just ignore the ringing and go about my business. If it is really important they'll call back.

I think it's just a coincidence or the person picked a bad time to call. Happens to me all the time so I just tell them to call my cell. That way I can take my cell into the restroom with me.
