dude, I've broken quite a lot of mirrors till date, but still haven't seen any bad luck coming my way, so from experience I'd say nothing happens.

and don't blame it to bad luck and the mirror if you spend your money on some goodluck charms to neutralize the effects. It's you who make the world seem good or bad, so think good and you only get the good luck in all you do. Quite philosophical isn't it.

Yes, just don't believe in it.

We’ve all heard the old wives tale that says if you break a mirror you’ll have seven years of bad luck. Luckily, those of us who have broken a mirror know that you typically aren’t tainted as a result. The old wives tale goes on though to say that if you bury the broken mirror in the moonlight your luck will be restored instantly. The origination of this old wives tale is unknown and has not proven to be true for anyone. If one does experience bad luck after a breaking mirror, it’s safe to say it is coincidence.

I wasn't ever really superstitious, but I broke a mirror in 1995 and I've had bad luck ever since. I thought the superstition was that it was seven years of bad luck. Maybe the first seven are in career, and then health.

"Why seven? Well, there was a Roman belief that life renewed itself every seven
years. Since a broken mirror meant "broken" health, it was thought that one
would need seven years in which to recover."

Maybe bad luck comes from judging the dead who used to think this way.

Read somewhere (but then couldnt find the website again), while researching this that the rich used to believe having lots of mirrors brought good luck. . .unless one or more broke. ... . .

See Luck is always bad, because if u gain smthing & think it as ur goodluck, u r anyway going to lose ur peace of mind in the fear of losing it.
I mean to say whatever u get which u do not deserve is bad.
Just think that when smthing bad will happen, it will happen.
Then i will cry as much as possible, but why now, when it has not yet started ?
PPle r not believing God to be enough powerful, why should u think superstitions R ?

Immediately clean the place or the glasses will cut your feet. That is the bad luck., and if u will not replace a new one your mother will scold u. It is also bad luck. No other ill luck is going to happen.

The best way to get rid of the bad luck is to collect all the tiny pieces carefully and dump them into the garbage. If any one piece left out, it is definitely a bad luck for your foot.

Bad luck will only come to you if you believe in it, or pretend to not believe in it but secretly do believe it.

But you might want to replace that mirror..
