It is a fact that terrorists are using women and children as a means to accomplish terror activities. Terrorists have no respect for life, and now they are using liquid explosives.
How many of you feel that ALL carry on baggage should be banned, with the exception of wallets and prescription medication?
If this is done, do you believe that the chances of a plane going down due to terrorism would be almost non existent?
Are you willing to sacrifice carry on luggage for safety?

yes all luggage should be checked, we have the technology to do this, but were not,, because the Bush team didn't take the advice of the taxpayers 9-11 commission,, causing people to become thirsty, and unkept,, 5 years after the fact is not keeping us safe,,, the terrorists didn't just suddenly think of liquid explosives, does anyone really believe this ,,,

I believe that airport security officials are going overboard. I like to drive when I go on vacations because I get to see more of the country. I fly when I need to go a long distance and feel that our country is being led into an abusive and rights suspending nation who like to exert their greedy lust for power in how far they can go when searching someone, as if they get their jollies from it.

It's mainly for the peace of mind of the passengers. My brother is a commercial pilot, and he tells me stories that air marshals tell him.
If a terrorist wants to smuggle weaponry onto a plane, airport security is not going to stop them. That's a known verified fact.

yes .. and while ur at it lets have military road blocks and papers checks ... military guarding every major intersection and confiscate all weapons from civilians ... also lets have random house searches and arrests to do checks on people... lets lock it down after dusk and have curfews .. lets regulate everything including the interenet where you have to scan ur implanted microchip to even get online or buy or sell ... the security at airports is fricken ridiculous ... it wont stop one terrorist act ... a group of a few individuals with legally bought assault rifles could kill hundreds at a mall .. or take over an airport terminal for that matter... a few armed guards with pea-shooters wouldnt stop them... there are many ways to do terrorism ... but be afraid ... be very afraid ... trade all ur liberty for safety .. then you will be safe in your new 4th reich ... heil hitler

What they do at airports now is definitely overkill Where we need more security is at our ports there are more holes in port security than a block of Swiss cheese And no I Am not willing to sarrifice any thing more in the name of airport security I would rather never set foot on a plane again 1st than to deal wth any more crap in the name of airport security
