be more turned on by ejaculating into a plastic cup than by sex? Equivalent question for women too?

Reason I ask - all our sexual responses from attraction right through to sexual sensation are thought to be programmed by evolution. ie we developed these pleasurable sensations to motivate us to have sex, because sex is associated with reproduction. If reproduction becomes associated with another act, like a visit to a clinic, and sex is no longer how we reproduce, are we going to evolve so that we're more turned on by the clinic visit?

Humans have sex for pleasure not just for reproduction, so i think evolution will not select sexual intercourse out. However a guy who does get turned on by going to a clinic will be passing his genes onto the next generation (via a plastic cup) hence there could be a chance that his offspring may develop the same desires/urges & do the same. Over time the number of people with the 'I get turned on by ejaculating into a plastic cup gene' will increase within the general population but I don't think sex will die out!!!

excelant question to get people thinking.
humans do things that give them pleasure, sex naturaly gives pleasure. the motivation for ejaculating into a plastic cup is money, its not pleasure. i sapose u could say that it was doen out of the pleasure of having money, which probably developed in humans from the very start. people may do diffenrt things, but the instincts stay the same, in the future then, i sapose if the money gotten is considered quiete valuable, then people will do it more, but they wont start becoming attracted to plastic cups by association.

Apparently there are more women in the world to men, in 100 years it is thought that there will no longer be a male species, if that is so then it looks like women will be (A sexual)..i have been told that is the right word to use.So sex will be non existent and so will the clinics

Bit silly....
Read an article recently that Denmark had the most sperm donors. Highly in demand too. That stupid fetish about having kids with blond/blue eyed , nordic looks.
Reminded me of Hitler really.
Sex comes from the brain you silly ! A clinic will never stop people mating. Unless they have some kind of problem.

People will always want the real thing !! That is nature !!

no. I don't think that evolution will take away our desire to make love with another person and to produce a child from that love. I don't think it will ever become the norm to reproduce by artificial insemination. Some single people just want children, others want a family.

I would rather do it the old fashioned way. I guess that is just the way that I am programmed. Now if you could find a way that women would not have to go through the 9 months of carrying, nor the agony of labor and birth, that would be much more gooderer.

I wouldn't worry, most men ejaculate by looking at porn mags these days anyway, which are courteously provided by the said clinics, so there won't be much difference except us women will have the benefit of their genes rather than it being wasted (not to mention the environmental benefit by reducing the amount of tissue thats wasted every second.

Go to the video store and check out "Sleeper" with Woody Allen, it has this subject in there. It is a comedy, and very funny. There is a "Orgasmitron Machine" in the movie, where he accidentally got locked inside this machine, and when he came out, he was madly in love with the machine, and had his arms wrapped around the machine , starry eyed to say the least. However, he still liked girls too. You figure, but see that movie, you might be on to something here, he, he. It is futuristic stuff that is hilarious.

For people who never can or need to experience love in all it's forms, this could be an alternative to have a child. The question is would it be reasonable, to have people without the need to feel to have a family?

For people who experience love in all it's forms, I think AI Baby making is just a big """"""" joke!!!!!

Nothing happens without an reason.

I'd say that we're half way there. I know so many guys who sit on the internet looking at porn, and relieving themselves into a tissue, than spending time in bed with their girldfriend, who is sleeping three rooms away lol. What is up with that???
