Other than it being in the bible (which many don't believe in, including myself), people say that homosexuality is wrong because they don't have the parts to procreate. What the hell is that? Is that the best thing you can think of? There are many ways to get a child to complete a family. Adoption, surrogates, and fostering. A lot of the people who use these services are straight couples who cannot conceive. With that logic, we should just condemn any woman with a bad uterus and any man with a low sperm count to a life of childless and loveless celibacy.

waiting4u2believe: "If we're not suppose to be heterosexual then why were two different sexes made? Why not all men or all women? Leave the bible out of it since you already hate it and just look at nature. Why male and females?"
Why homos and heteros if we're not supposed to live together? That circular reasoning is just really simple, isn't it?

well the point of all animals being on the planet is to procreate, i think mother nature is allowing the homosexual population to grow because we didnt have the sense to believe in zero population growth back in the 70s when we were preaching it from every peace rally we could find. however it is the way nature is, not every animal is a perfect specimin, but they still live and sometimes add a lot to the pack, i had a hen who never hatched an egg in her life, but once the chicks were on the move she would baby sit all day long and let them nestle in her ample feathers. Not everyone in the universe is meant to procreate, just love who you love and ignore bible thumpers, we wiccans accept you.

Understand your frustration. There are places on this planet where homosexuality is accepted and for the most part cause no problems. Actually less problems than so called straight people. The sex offenses that happen with straight people also happen with gay people. When it comes down to the bottom line there is very little difference. Two females or two males instead one of each is the only real difference. Here where I live no one seems to care about it and lets people be what they are. Personally I don't care at all if two of the same sex want to be together. I am what I am and they can be what they are. All this nonsense that is going on in the States about sex choice is just that, nonsense.

I don't really understand what you're asking, but let me (misquote, ha) something Deacon Tansy said in the sermon this morning....from the Bible,
"They honored me with their lips
But their hearts were far from me..
They took HUMAN PRECEPTS to be God's law"
and it's talking about the Pharisees. But modern Christians have become like the Pharisees, in believing that the rituals and precepts of their religion- every bit written by imperfect men- are more important than the basic spirit of Christianity- which is essentially the Golden Rule.
God is OK with gays and lesbians....
it's only the priests who aren't.
(and look at all the repressed homosexuality and pedophilia among priests!!!)

I personally don't listen to or don't care about what anybody thinks or believes. I listen to myself and my heart. And I found my the love of my life and if he had been a woman I'd felt the same about him. Period. People are People to me...heart and soul...people.
And yes of course all people should have the same rights.
I think staying positive and living your life genuinely...you will find happiness.

You know that there are probably tons of animals that cannot have babies. Look at cats for instance, they often become surrogate mothers to other cats, even if they themselves are not mothers. Does that mean that all cats are Satan's spawn? I think Christians just like to piss people off. Be gay, be straight, be bi, be nothing. Who cares? Jesus should love everyone right? Then why not homosexuals? I could care less if people are gay. That's their choice, right and business. Not mine to judge.

from a scientific standpoint procreation is a legitimate argument, much the same as abortion. notice the number of liberals dwindeling isbecause they kill off there supporters. If you can not reproduce then you cannot hope to spread your ideas to the child, adoption maybe but very unlikely. so then the Gay?Lesbian agenda is lost. Divine will of God? Maybe.

That's an excellent point. I might add-why all the emphasis on breeding at all? We have too many people right now.
