I am 36. I took a pay cut to start a new career as a construction electrician. I was making 10/hour as an electronics assembler. Now I am making 8.32/hour with a .50/hour adder for working in Williamsburg VA, as a green helper. (because it is so far from the home office in Chesapeake.)

I make an annual salary, and am pretty much at work all the time. Hard to break down to an hourly wage.
