Of course, during 300 years of Spanish occupation; but not all, they are thinning out obviously because there aren't Spanish bulls to refresh the genes.

some are just pure malay.

Yes, some of them, but remember that Spanish is not synonim of dark-skinned. In fact, many if not most Spaniards are light skinned, blue-eyed, etc. just like any other European. If they are tanned it's because of their Asian heritage, not Spanish.

yes, we have a mix of mexican-spanish blood. the philippines have been under spanish rule for about 350 years...just like mexico...good question
