there is this guy who I used to like...we hung out alot when we were young because our parent were friends.. he was eleven and i was ten. he was really cute but all that him and his stepbrother would talk about when I went over there was nasty stuff, not exactly perv stuff but close....but then we moved away so i didn't see him anymore for like four years...but I recently saw him.......he was cuter than I remeber him to be and alot taller!! We talked for like a long time. but he didn't seem as goofy as he used to be.. he was so grown up and intelligent!!i kind of miss the old way he used to be am I wrong for that??

story of my life except for me the guy moved, i didn't we knew eachother from age 8 to 14but then he moved, i had a hard time getting over it. He acted goofy at home but tried to be cool at school, After he moved i never saw the goofy him again. Just him trying to be something he wasn't. And now we go to different high schools so ill never see him again. In your case his seriousness probably is real. Your not wrong for missing the old him, but i wish things wouldn't change so much. Its really sad. You never know what you have until it's gone, forever.

People change, you hung with him when both of you were kids, you changed and he changed, this is the reality of life. Now you have to understand the way that he's a grown man and find out if the way that he turned to be is the one that you agree or keep on going on with your life.

If you want to know him better, then talk to him more. Go out with him. What's stopping you? You don't have to be a couple to know someone better, do you?
