Have you read the Quran? Or any decent translation of it? Much of it matches very closely to the Bible. Which I myself do not always agree with either. At least my translations of the Quran were done by very well educated people instead of monks who were being paid by a King to translate who wanted to keep their heads attached to their shoulders.

I was raised Unitarian and taught to tolerate all religions and faiths. The United States protects such rights and freedoms to worship the religion of your choice. But it does not allow for abuse of any one religion or sect or person based upon beliefs. That goes for Muslims and Christians alike.

Because anything can be misquoted and taken out of context to prove a point. Mathematicians have known this for centuries: anything can be proven statistically given the right sample set.
And poetic scripture, regardless of religion, is ideal for misquoting because it is so open to interpretation. That's why scripture is so often quoted to justify things that any true follower of the religion should abhore.

2who told you osama has never read the koran ?? even if he hasnt or if he has there is no reason why any person on earth has "the right" to use a cultures inate belief in their ways to "radically" change the course of history. but , imagine this now, what if , no matter what you believe in , this mess is actually our course of history and that sitting around wondering who what where when or why wont do anything to change it nor speed it up nor slow it down ? what if this is what it is and our jobs as human beings isnt no more than to survive what this cold cruel yet wonderfully full of life world throws our way? and furthermore whos to say osama isnt just some figment of the imaginations of certain people who are actually in control of our planets course through any and all worlds both seen and unseen. why would it be ? why not is what i ask. why cant we see that all we hear and see is just smoke and mirrors to the truth. that being that somehow someway not any one being on this earth knows for sure what the program is going to be tomorrow because , and ask an accomplished mathmatecian, there are too many unknown quantities and qualities let alone what we call variables. if the variables arent in place yet but remain just the letter x then that means the problem cant be solved until it solves itself. maybe.

I agree with the minister. Everything can be taken out of context. You always find evidence to support your beliefs, no matter what they may be.
Oh yeah, and he's a loon.

Because it adds to his credibiltiy with his "followers" if he knows the Quran.
Obviously, OBL wants the ones that follow him to do is "bidding". Are they going to do it if it is due to the religion they follow with their lives or for a guy that is pissed off at another country because of money? He NEEDS the followers to do his dirty work, or else he is nothing but another lunatic.

I might not like the guy but I won't doubt his beliefs, looking at Frontline on PBS I doubt he doesn't know the Koran left and right, where do you get your info from? Or is this just an accusation?
