i got a new HP pavilion like a month and ahalf......and im tryin to change my homepage....and i use the microsoft internet explorer.....i go to tools....then internet options...and but that url of da page i want and still doesnt come out


i been stock wit this home http://hp-desktop.aol.com

please help!!!

First open the website that you want your home page to be..
Then click on
Tools > Internet options > Use current.

If the name does not appear in the window. Then Go to the address bar. click once, right click and select copy. Now go back to Internet options and paste it in the box. select > right click > paste.

goto the top of internet explorer and click tools, then click internet optionsand type in the address of lets say yahoo.com in the box that says home page and click apply at bottom

Well I click tools then internet options then you should see the word address clear out that box and type in www._____________ .com and click use current and it should change it for you!

seem like ur pc has been acting strange.if bring u to a web same web page all the time , u need to go to regedit.
to go there...go to start...choose run...type in regedit...find the internet in there ...open up...look for anything that doesn't match ur home page that u want n change them to ur home page...good luck

Make sure that you are on your page in internet explorer.
The clikc "tools", "intenet options", and the "use "current" button the the "ok" button.

press ctrl and Alt (at the bottom left of your keyboard) at the same time and click the internet icon
