I.e. a California winner will get a hot tub and an aura cleansing, Oregonians- a suspendable tree tent for protesting, Bostonians- a brand new cah, New Yorkers- a hug and a Kevlar vest, Texans- the right to brag that a Texan won it, Floridians- a weatherproof biosphere, North Dakotans- recognition that they’re still a state, Montanans- a one week ban on all real-estate hungry Californians (this prize was actually petitioned for by 38 other states), Alaskans- an igloo and a sealskin parka (just kidding) it’s a crab boat and an extra 48 hours tapped on to the opilio crab season (courtesy of the Discovery Channel), Utahans- a new honeymoon for up to 7 wives, etc, etc, etc.

Getting points just lets you do more things like answer more questions, ask more questions, comment more and then eventually be able to rate and vote. Nope. All you do is just answer people's questions and you only get points for bragging rights. I don't think hat there's a big prize though...

the points help you move on to other levels. it's not really considered as a game. the points aren't important but the important thing is to honestly help other people w/ their questions/problems.
