Growing up is one of the toughest things we should face. First of all, we don't know what the world would give us... (we don't even know what to do in the future) But, in as much as you want to know everything about the future and what should you do in the future. All you need to do is to just SAIL ON on where GOD wants you to go and what HE wants you to become. the answer then, is to stop asking..." SAIL ON" and leave it up to the wind...

Hi Danny:
The first thing you have to do is change your attitude. You have a very negative view of yourself. In your question, you mentioned things that you can't do, but didn't give a clue as to what you can do, or what you like to do.
At your particular point of life, it would be invaluable for you to take an aptitude test. This will tell you what you have an aptitude for, that is, what you might be good at. And when you go through the list, you can choose which of the suggested careers sounds most interesting to you. Then you can design your college studies to strengthen those abilities and to qualify for a job in that field.
Talk with your guidance counselor, and see if the aptitude tests can be given through the school, and if not, where s/he would recommend you to go.
And start thinking positive! You've got a great life ahead of you.

You will be a slacker if you don't find motivation. Usually life's hard kick in the but will motivate you to get up, get out, and do something. If not, you'll become the 40 year old virgin in your mothers basement. I felt the same way as you but I had interest. I plugged them into what I thought could get me the most money from it. Business. I became an entrepreneur. Yeah it has risks but you can do what you want, no matter what it is, in business and you'll always have people having your back if you stay professional and in good standing and reputation with your contacts.

Find something you enjoy doing such as (drawing, writing, problem solver etc), only you can decide what you want to be. It takes ppl time to decide what they want to have for a career. Don't let this discourage you, think of it this way. When you wake up in the morning, and the first thing you think of is something you love to do first before anything else, that is what you are meant to be. (besides using the bathroom lol, like a hobby you like could be building things, writing, designing, etc.)

first off, you've got 3 years left to focus on high school! enjoy it. as far as choosing a career goes, you need to pursue something that you are passionate about. do you like helping people? go for social work, something in the medical field or something in mental health. do you like art? look into graphic design or working for an art gallery.

this is a hard question to answer based on the info you gave. but remember, you can always change careers if something isn't fulfilling you.

Barring all *that*, then what are you interested in? Have you got any idea? If not, then you need to look inside yourself to determine what truly fascinates you. What are your strengths and your weaknesses? What holds you spell-bound within the context of your academic accomplishments?

Only you can answer this question, because only you know your strengths & your flaws. Take a good, solid, brutally honest, look at yourself in the mirror and go from there.

Be a Soldier, Sailor, Airman or Marine, they will train you to learn whatever skill you want, and you don't have to take extra HS classes to get there. Then you can either stay in and make it a career if you like it, or get out and go to school on the governments dime, you win either way.

You can't exactly just ask this question... Think about these things:

1. What do you enjoy doing? (hobbies, taking care of pets, etc.)
2. Are there any jobs based around/about that hobby?
