Sweet sixteen, and tired of being kissed !!!

What do you mean by ‘intimate’?
Are we just talking ‘hugs and kisses’ or are we talking about going all the way?

A couple of months ago, you asked a question about whether ‘sex’ would mess up your relationship with your boyfriend of five years.
Is it still the same guy?

In your previous question, you mentioned that you are very jealous when it comes to other girls and your man.

Is your man giving you reason to feel jealous?…
Is he being ‘intimate’ toward the other girls?

There are many reasons why you might lose your desire to be intimate in a relationship.
A lot can be to do with the way your partner treats and respects you.
If he treats you like ‘crap’ then obviously you aren’t going to be in a hurry to be warm and passionate toward him.

How you feel about ‘yourself’ can have a lot to do with things as well.
If you don’t feel good about yourself, and your self-esteem is pretty low, then that will affect the way you are toward others, and cause you to not want to be intimate toward anyone.

How your partner responds or fails to respond to your intimate actions can be a significant factor… so too, if the ‘intimacy’ is a one-sided affair.
If you are being intimate with your partner, and he isn’t being intimate toward you, then you may soon find that your desire for intimacy has flown out the window.

You asked if your not wanting to be intimate in the relationship, means anything…
I guess it depends on where you see your relationship heading.
You perhaps need to consider that if you are not intimate toward your partner, then you just may find that he will soon look elsewhere for the affection he is after. If that happens, you will soon find that he will either cheat on you, or your relationship will cease to be.

My wife and I went through a period like that. It usually means that there's something wrong. It doesn't necessarily mean that it's between the two of you though. One of you could have depression, one of you could be doing all the housework, one of you could be going through a lot of stress right now. However, relationships need intimacy to survive, so you would do well to get some couples/marriage counseling. Good luck!

I feel the same way about my man. I don't know if it's because i have two very young children or if I have lost interest in just him or sex altogether.

If you stop being intimate that's usually the beginning of the end.
