It's for a big 13th dance/swim birthday party at night.

I am on a budget!!

There are 30 people. I am considering door prizes for the 1st, 13th, and 26th people.

Also, I'm doing party favors. Do not say that any of this is too kiddish--"kiddish" varies from area to area.

This is what the favors are so far:

--a personalized "mint matchbook"
--a party popper
--candy

I am looking for one or a few more things to put in the favors that is not expensive but that the teens will like.

THANK YOU, AND PLEASE HELP!

Hi Dancer...

for the young ladies:
If you have a flea market or $1 store in your area, go there and buy nail polish in bulk. Most sell name brands in multi-packs. L'oreal, Maybelline, Revlon, etc. Put bath confetti, party confetti, or glitter on small sheets of colored tissue paper, then wrap around the bottles of polish. You can add mini emory boards or Avon lipstick samples. Tie shut w/ curly ribbon.

for the young men:
Buy trial sizes of AX cologne. or any cologne sample. Try to find the little snaps safe explosives. They should not be thrown at people, but again they are safe and no fire is used. Just toss on a hard surface for the snap. Mini kick sacks are still popular as well. I hope I helped.

p.s. I used the nail polish @ my cousin's baby shower last year. I still get raves for it. Anything mini is fun. Bath fizzies, earrings, beads, candles...

What about a cool, fluffy towel or beach bag? Sorry I'm older so I can't tell you what's in style for 13 yr olds to tell you which type of theme the towel or bag should be in.
