Keep pantyliners with you all the time- in your purse, all though it is probably not necessary to wear them every day. (unless you tend to spot ALOT thats a little paranoid)

Regular expercise can help ease cramps. Cramps before your period are normal for lots of women...ah,the fun of PMS.
You can also take midol or advil or something.

And yes, periods do pretty much SUCK. But you've got to deal with them. When you are older and are choosing birth control, keep in mind the pill can help regulate and shorten your periods.

1. ) I am 32. It is not the most pleasant thing - any woman will tell you that.

2.) On the days when you think you are close, wear dark clothes and/or long shirt that will cover you if you have a mishap. Keep some "back-up stuff" in your locker.

3.) When you know you are about to get your period, start taking advil or ibuprofen (same thing) a few days before you get it. It helps keep cramps manageable and oftentimes minimal. There are certain foods you should avoid - things like caffeine, etc. Bathroom part - best advise is to go when your body tells you to. If that's the way your body is responding to your period (everyone is different), roll with it - holding it is not good for your urinary health.

"I am worried about school. I am wearing a panti liner every day even when its not even close to my period. "

Same here! I'm glad I'm not the only one. I'm always afraid that my period'll start irregularly and I wouldn't prepared! I even wear pads a week before my period usually starts. *sigh*

"About a week or two before my period, I have cramps and feel like I have to go to the bathroom every 5 minutes. What can I do"

Maybe it's something you're eating? Dairy and oily foods make me bloated before/during my period.

1 I think they suck too.

2 well just carry some pads in your purse. The way you can know when are you going to start your period is every 28 days you start. well it depends on the person.

3 Just take some motrin or aleve, that will help take the cramps away. About going to the bathroom just go to the doctor and ask them why do you have to go to the bathroom alot.

hope this helps

Menstrual Cycles for many girls are very painful. Cramping can begin days before the cycle starts. Those that suffer from acute menstral cycles can have heavy bleeding for up to 10 days. See a gynocologist.. I had these problems. Birthcontrol pills relieved about 80% of the the heavy bleeding, cutting my cycles from 10 days to 5-6 days and relieve the "heavy-flow". It also relieved about 30% of the cramping and backpain. The gyno can also prescribe medication to help with the cramping which is very effective, but not the kind of meds that make you sleepy.. You can still function.. GOOD LUCK!

1. same here. theyre not fun(my niece actually thinks its the coolest thing in the world. wait until its her turn)

2. don't be worried. if you know your cycle, then why be worried? just carry a purse and put a few pads in it. thats what i do. and if your worried about getting blood on your pants during your period, i would seriously consider tampons. i use them all the time. after you use them a couple of times, you dont even feel them. i use mine with a pad just incase so you could always do that

3. for the bathroom thing, sorry no idea. for the cramps, exercise, and take advil or something for pain. that should work

Just pay close attention to what your body is doing. If you do that you should never be caught off guard and embarrassed. No need to wear pantie liners all the time.

Yes periods are a royal pain. Can't stand it.

Try taking something like midol or anything for bloat.

just roll with it. Use the super pad if it make you fell comfortable and bring lots with you. Wearing panti liners is a good thing. you will catch it on there and not your underware. now on the feeling like you have to go every 5 min. not sure other then you could be a heavy bleeder and it is putting preasure on your bladder.
