Better ask a born blind. But I think with touching the things may be They(born blinds) can imagine the shape of them.Obviously their sweetest dream is to be able to see the world one day.

The brain is a powerful tool... A blind person who was born that way might still imagine, if not mentally see shapes through what they feel, smell, and hear. The more intricate the object, the harder this ability will be.

Since the Blind have to rely on all their other senses, I imagine that their Dreams would be so Intense with their own sights of smells and touch and taste....over whelming to me, using more of the Brain Matter than I am.

The inner eye is not blind, and is capable of visualising things. For instance, haven't you ever had an imaginary view of a place you have never been to, such as a city or even, angels and heaven?

blind people will naturally determine shapes of things, and their 'appearance' after they get familiar with them. so they form images of these things in their head, and 'see' them.
this is very similar to what some people do when they read a book. a thing that they have never seen before is described to them, and they form an image of that thing or person.
am i right?
that's my best guess, since i am not blind

Sadly, people who aren't born blind and who later on in life lose their sight, dream in pictures. And when they wake, the pictures are gone (blind once again).

The occipital lobe can still function but it will only show shapes that are imagined. A blind person can imagine shapes after feeling things like books, oranges, CDs, whatever.

The brain can only copy and rearrange, not create.
Try imagining a completely new color..
Or try explaining to a blind man what "green" is..
Blind people don't have mental images, they'll only experience what they know..
