I am 33 years old, and underweight. I have never had children, but have been trying for years. My husband has had 2. The past couple months, Ive been getting a very thick, sticky, clear discharge when I wipe. Usually after my period. It doesnt smell, and when I put it between my finger and thumb, its really stretchy and transparent. I dont recall ever having this before. I know 33 is getting a little too old to be trying, but, is this ovulation? Is it possible for someone 15 lbs underweight to have a baby? And also, is there a certain vitamin my husband and I can take to dramatically increase our chances of conception?

If its about a week after your period and for around 3 days then you are probably ovulating. Yes underweight people can have babies. When I was trying to get pregnant I could not and I thought there was something wrong with me. When I quit trying so hard and relaxed I got pregnant. Stress may be what is keeping you from becoming pregnant. Have you been to a fertility doctor to make sure nothing is wrong? If you haven't you might want to find one. There is an easy and cheap ovulation test by First Response that you can buy for under $20. I am not sure about a vitamin that will increase your chances, just try to relax and not worry about it so much. Good luck.

check with an obgyn on the discharge. 33 is not too old to be having a baby and it can be harder to be underweight and get pregnant. Take LuiquiMax sold at Sams Club. It has all the daily vitamins a body needs. Oysters and shelled seafood are suppose to increase your fertility levels. Also reduce stress and realize it will happen when GOD see fits. Best of Luck.

Yes this could be a sign of ovulation. As long as you have no other things going on causing you concern, jump your man's bones as soon as you see that white sign and good luck!

And 33 isn't old, my stepmother had my half sister at 34, My little sister and I are 11 years apart which is kinda weird but other than that everything was fine with her!

KEEP TRYING!

normal ovulation related. no 33 is not too old. being underweight doesn't mean u can't have a baby.
i've heard from multiple sources that that a helpful home remedy is taking robitussin which helps by thinning your cervical mucus which facilitates better sperm mobility.
a helpful book you could read is 'taking charge of your fertility' by toni weschler. or something like that... :)
i'm including a link that may help

Relax... its pretty normal (it looks like that glue stuff on advertisment papers and stuff, right?) . I had that about 3 times. As long as it doesn't have a color, you are okay. I don't *think* it has anything to do with being pregnant... but it possibly might... I am 7 months pregnant right now... so perhaps it happened when I first got pregnant??? I don't really recall.

a dischargethat is white and sticky is a sign of you getting ready to ovulate. I had to watch for this while trying to concievie our 2nd baby. try to abstain from sex (for your hubby make sure he remains "master of his domain")for 2-3 days until you have sex on your most fertile day. This helps by having more production of sperm to increase your chances.

Good luck.

OK, please do not listen to the people on here. They have no idea what they are talking about and insulting you is just mean. What you are experiencing is very fertile cervical mucus. You should be having sex!! Get the book taking charge of your fertility, it will explain all that!! Good luck to you!!!

It is called lubrication , the older you get your gash tends to dry out and crack, so nature has a way of prefenting this problem. Take a sample to your Doctor and have it checked for UV protection. Atleast you can be asured insects can migrate, unless they own a set of chains.
