Probably my favorite genre of books would have to be Thrillers. Although it can be applied to different genres, in general these tend to have epic storylines with exciting plot twists and changes all around, and the characters often show significant development or surprising changes.

At any rate, are there any books or authors in particular you would recommend?

I really like James Patterson's books also I just finished reading Harlan Coben's No Second Chance and Vince Flynn's Memorial Day.

Although I tired of Robin Cook, I must rec the current paperback. Marker. It is a medical thriller with current events in mind that are completely mind-blowing in ramification.

james patterson--2 excellent books of his--roses are red---and the sequel violets are blue---also sidney sheldon--master of plot twists!

I'm enjoying James Rollins these days. Just finished 'Sandstorm' and I bought 'Map of Bones' but I haven't started it yet. 'Sandstorm' was pretty good.
