You bet. The only thing that can cut a diamond is another diamond (or a high powered laser, amongst other tools)...

Yes. This is due to the fact that like many crystals diamond is not equally hard in every direction and has a "grain" in the same way wood does. It will split easily in one direction but not in a direction at right angles to that. Wood is easier to scratch with the grain than across it. If you hold a diamond with its hard direction running font to back and scratch another diamond with its hard direction running from side to side the stone in your hand will leave a mark.

Yep, any diamond can scratch another diamond. It has to do with thier molecular structure and bonds. This is true of other minerals as well. If a substance equals or is greater to another in the Mohs hardness scale, it can scratch it.
